We are seeking a motivated, Software Developer Intern with a strong passion for web and application development. In this role, you will work alongside experienced developers to design, build, and ship features for core products. You will gain hands-on experience across the entire development lifecycle—from front-end user interfaces to back-end application logic—and contribute directly to code that impacts our users.
Feature Development: Build, test, and deploy responsive web interfaces and application features using modern frameworks.
Code & Architecture: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following team standards and best practices.
API & Database Integration: Collaborate on connecting front-end components with back-end services, RESTful APIs, and databases.
Testing & Debugging: Identify, troubleshoot, and fix bugs across different browsers, platforms, and devices.
Agile Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews within an Agile/Scrum team.
Technical Growth: Continuously learn new technologies, toolsets, and frameworks to improve application performance and quality.
Other: Carry out any other technical tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience/bootcamp background). With the following proficiencies;
• Solid knowledge and experience in programming applications.
• Proficient in JavaScript, Python, PHP, MySQL, Adobe.
• Familiar with frameworks such as Laravel, Drupal, WordPress e.t.c.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid ability in both written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of programming language and technical terminology.
• Able to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them.
• High degree of independent judgment.
• Able to solve complex problems.
Industry certifications will be an added advantage.
